The Jeremy Lin contract to the Brooklyn Nets had been one of the most exciting New York comebacks in the NBA offseason. Unfortunately, fans only got glimpses of the much awaited Linsanity in the hardwood court as the Asian star was forced to the bench by his injuries. Despite his health concerns, the former New York Knicks star remained a strong influence in the coaching staff and team lineup. Reports now indicate that one of his urgent suggestions is for the Brook Lopez team to chase a Jimmy Butler trade soon.

The Chicago Bulls had been struggling to keep up with their Eastern Conference counterparts like the Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors coming into the NBA playoffs this year. With the Dwyane Wade far away from actually beating the Cleveland Cavaliers anytime soon, many see the impending offseason as their chance to finally admit their need for a rebuild. If this comes into fruition, then fans believe that the Jimmy Butler contract will be the first off their list.

"The only way Jimmy can have a little more comfort out there is teammates continue to make shots,” shared Dwyane Wade of the Chicago Bulls’ current state. "Jimmy is doing what he needs to do. He's trying to pass to his teammates more, trying to give them more confidence. And it's that time of year where he's going to see a little bit more people in front of him than there was earlier in the season. He's just got to figure it out."

Rumors are pointing to a massive announcement soon involving a Jimmy Butler trade to a flailing NBA team in exchange for draft picks and minor pieces to better execute game plans. Among the interested basketball squads to sign a Jimmy Butler contract are the Los Angeles Lakers, Sacramento Kings Detroit Pistons and Dallas Mavericks. However, it appears that the Detroit Pistons of Jeremy Lin are also gunning for the Chicago Bulls star.

At this point, no official comment has been given by the parties tagged in the NBA rumor. However, fans of the Brooklyn Nets are eager to see how Jeremy Lin and Jimmy Butler would work together to build a championship contender squad. With the sheer talent of the Chicago Bulls star alongside the strong leadership skills courtesy of the Linsanity, many feel that this would be a great partnership.
