The Golden State Warriors are now considered a possibly unbeatable super team courtesy of Kevin Durant who joined forces with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. While winning over this group will be a tough challenge for LeBron James and the rest of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Dub Nation have no intention of resting on their laurels. Although KD is busy winning basketball games in the Rio Olympics 2016, the former teammate of Russell Westbrook is said to be multitasking. That is, a Jahlil Okafor trade may be in the works thanks to the 2014 NBA MVP.

The Philadelphia 76ers are considered a promising team especially with the recent draft that afforded them Ben Simmons. While the NBA team is overflowing with young talent, the problem lies on the fact that the Sixers have too many stars playing the same position. To be more specific, the Philadelphia 76ers are pressed to execute an NBA trade that could send away one of its three big men, namely, Jahlil Okafor, Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid.

"There's no question you can look at our roster and say we have some unbalance," shared Bryan Colangelo of the NBA trade rumors surrounding the team. The Philadelphia 76ers exec added, "We're top heavy. We have some good talent there."

Colangelo further noted, "We have to figure out what we're going to do with everybody. When you look at the calls coming in, quite frankly, everyone's trying to poach a big man from us."

Although the Philadelphia 76ers keep denying the NBA trade rumors linking Jahlil Okafor to different basketball squads, speculations point to the Duke alum as the potential trading chip as opposed to fellow centers Joel Embiid and Nerlens Noel. Among the teams that are reportedly vying for a Jahlil Okafor trade are the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks. However, the rumored sales pitch of the one and only Kevin Durant might just push the Sixers big man to sign with the Golden State Warriors instead.

At the moment, the Rio Olympics 2016 is occupying the time of Kevin Durant. However, the newly minted Golden State Warriors star is known to be a huge influence among young stars in the NBA today. If the rumor that Kevin Durant is helping out the Stephen Curry squad in executing a Jahlil Okafor trade turns out to be true, then the Philadelphia 76ers big man may be donning a different uniform by next season.

However, none of the parties involved have officially commented on the matter. At this point, the Philadelphia 76ers are still holding on to their claim that a Jahlil Okafor trade is far from their minds. Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have most of their NBA All-Star players competing in the Rio Olympics 2016.
