The Los Angeles Lakers are now pegged as one of the most promising teams in the NBA. Coming off from an abysmal season following the Kobe Bryant retirement tour, the D'Angelo Russell squad is gaining popularity for their remarkable change in the hardwood court. With the Jordan Clarkson team becoming a serious contender in the next basketball seasons, talks are surfacing that a Klay Thompson trade could be in the works.

The entry of Kevin Durant in the Golden State Warriors is assumed to have thrown off the chemistry of the Splash Brothers. The move of the former partner of Russell Westbrook into the Dub Nation seems to bring out a better version of Stephen Curry - one that no longer relies too much on Klay Thompson. With this in mind, fans of the Golden State Warriors feel that a new era has started and it's time to tinker once again with the team's lineup.

Rumors are rife that the Los Angeles Lakers are working on a Klay Thompson trade. Speculations indicate that the Golden State Warriors star initially refused trade talks, but the recent performance of the D'Angelo Russell squad appeared to have convinced him. Moreover, the presence of Kevin Durant alongside Stephen Curry this NBA season has pushed fans to think that a Klay Thompson trade would be the best.

"The culture that we had (at the Golden State Warriors) is what I'm trying to build down here," shared Luke Walton in an earlier interview. He added, "Obviously different starting points. ... But the way they did things, as far as big picture, is something I'd like to see down here."

Fans of the Los Angeles Lakers could not believe how far the Nick Young team has transformed this NBA season. The performance of young stars like D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson saw remarkable improvement from the Kobe Bryant retirement days. Since fans believe that the Golden State Warriors seem to be steadily moving forward without much assistance from the other half of the Splash Brothers, a Klay Thompson trade is highly anticipated.

However, the speculations have yet to be confirmed by any of the parties concerned. For his part, Klay Thompson appears to be working on how to contribute better to the Golden State Warriors. That is, he seems to be looking into ways to help out Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant in regaining the championship this season.
