The Milwaukee Bucks are having a quiet season despite being tied with the Indiana Pacers of Paul George and Atlanta Hawks of Dwight Howard in the East. With the consistent rise of the Giannis Antetokounmpo in the league, fans believe that it would no longer be a surprise if they turn out to be tough challengers against the Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards, Toronto Raptors and even the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, it seems that the Jabari Parker squad would need more star power if they intend to unseat these reigning leaders in their conference. Will dominating in the Lonzo Ball draft campaign be the next best move for them?

The 2017 NBA Draft is anticipated to be one of the most exciting classes thus far. To date, the race is very close in terms of the top five prospects with Josh Jackson, Markelle Fultz, De'Aaron Fox and Jayson Tatum. Among the most talked about is the son of LaVar Ball, Lonzo, who recently played his last game with UCLA and announced his decision to join the pros this year. While the Los Angeles Lakers are expected to draft the 6'6" star, reports are surfacing that the Milwaukee Bucks are moving assets to land him instead.

"Steph Curry's pretty good," commented LaVar Ball of his son's prowess in the hardwood court. "My son is young, he's got time to grow. And you only consider him good because he's won a couple championships. ... He makes some shots at the right time. But he's not as young as my boy. You not gonna be able to say this until my boy finishes playing his career; then they gon' look back and say, 'Man, how did LaVar know all this?'"

Rumors are rife that the Milwaukee Bucks are eager to spend and sacrifice few pieces to win the Lonzo Ball draft campaign. These efforts, according to speculations, are geared towards making sure that current leader Giannis Antetokounmpo would have a promising partner soon. Meanwhile, fans of the UCLA star are supportive of the idea especially given the leadership qualities of the Milwaukee Bucks star touted by his own teammates.

"Giannis is selfless," shared Malcolm Brogdon. "That's why this team has been able to come together and make the run we're making. We follow his lead every night. It speaks to his character and his leadership."

What do you think? Should the Milwaukee Bucks invest to win the Lonzo Ball draft campaign? Will the UCLA alum be a good addition to help Giannis Antetokounmpo?
