The Los Angeles Lakers are focused on rebuilding their team. The Oklahoma City Thunder are aggressive in their push to prove the naysayers wrong when they claimed that only Kevin Durant could help them beat the Golden State Warriors. With KD now off with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, the whole Russell Westbrook squad is looking for players to add to help them become strong contenders this NBA season. Among the possible NBA trade talks in the works, it looks like a Nick Young trade could still be on the table.

Rumors are rife that the D'Angelo Russell squad wants to have a fresh start this NBA season. Although the NBA trade deadline has passed, talks of a Nick Young trade still linger in the Los Angeles Lakers locker room. More than that, the basketball team has yet to show a firm indication of their plans to keep Swaggy P long term. What does this mean for the controversial star?

"It's like you're starting over and everybody is trying to impress," shared D'Angelo Russell of the new management. "Everybody has to look over their shoulder once again. It's like coming to a new team, trying to impress the GMs and guys in the front office with your play, off the court and the way you handle yourself. It's all different."

For his part, Swaggy P claimed that the Nick Young trade rumors also had him worried. "Everyone was looking at me. I thought I was gone," admitted Nick Young of the NBA trade rumors attached to his name.

Despite the scare, Swaggy P shared that he understands the rudiments of the trade. He also assured fans he can still bring his A-game in court.

Nick Young said, "I understand the business side and letting the young guys grow. I still consider myself one of these guys. I can make shots for them when they need me."

Meanwhile, the OKC appear to be making it work with their new recruits from the Chicago Bulls. As Taj Gibson and Doug McDermitt adapt to the Russell Westbrook squad, it remains to be seen if the rumors could be proven right if they revisit the alleged Nick Young trade possibility.
