The Sacramento Kings had a frustrating 2015-16 NBA season with star player DeMarcus Cousins and former head coach George Karl reportedly constantly at each other's throats especially after losses. Despite the addition of veteran Rajon Rondo in an effort to provide a mentor for the young and aggressive center, the Rudy Gay team still failed to work together and mesh to win basketball games. As the NBA offseason heat up and the free agency market as well as the NBA Draft offering an influx of potential stars to bank on, the Sacramento Kings are reportedly expected to bid adieu to both DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo.

The constant emotional outbursts of big man DeMarcus Cousins have been a problem for the Sacramento Kings since he signed with them. While the center is no doubt talented, with some even claiming that he can match Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors and Hassan Whiteside of the Miami Heat, Cousins' inability to control his frustrations has made the rest of his teammates wary of his presence. Moreover, the suspensions and penalties that result from his aggressive nature cost the NBA team a number of crucial games in the NBA 2015-16 season.

Hence, it comes as no surprise that the Sacramento Kings are shopping DeMarcus Cousins. Rumors are rife that the Boston Celtics are looking into the deal. With Jae Crowder, Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Smart in the roster, fans believe that DeMarcus Cousins might just fit in. Moreover, the culture of passion inculcated in the Boston Celtics players seem to favor the emotional center.

To further sweeten the deal, the Boston Celtics are also expected to sign Rajon Rondo. The NBA All-Star veteran, who played for the Jae Crowder squad from 2006 to 2014 before moving on to the Dallas Mavericks, has been a staple source of inspiration and leadership. With such a young core, it comes as no surprise that the Boston Celtics would want to once again ask for the help of Rajon Rondo. In addition, Rondo's recent comments regarding his stint with the Sacramento Kings points out a huge possibility that Rudy Gay will lose his co-leader soon.

"There were too many distractions on and off the court," said Rondo when asked of his experience with the Sacramento Kings. He added, "The organization as a whole, I don't think was together completely. I think as a team you have to want the best for the next man beside you, and that wasn't the case with the Sacramento Kings. Too much tension. I've never witnessed or experienced a thing like that in my 10-year career."
