The Chicago Bulls have one of the most talented rosters in the NBA today. In fact, the initial parts of the season even had fans pegged the Jimmy Butler team as strong contenders who can dethrone LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers are kings of the Eastern Conference. As the season progressed, however, the Chicago Bulls continued to disappoint fans with only occasional glimpses of their brilliance such as the time when Derrick Rose bounced back from his injuries and Taj Gibson showed off his skills. In the end though, none was sustained and the Chicago Bulls find themselves out of the NBA playoffs 2016.

Given this disappointing turn of events, it comes as no surprise when NBA trade rumors started to hound the Chicago Bulls stars. One of the most widely reported star who might exit the team soon is Pau Gasol. A former teammate of the great Kobe Bryant in the Los Angeles Lakers, the Spanish star has been known as a good leader in the locker room. However, it appears that the recent changes in coaching staff and the shift in gameplays all stacked up against the Chicago Bulls. Hence, Gasol's efforts to help his team win games all went down the drain.  

As NBA trade rumors once again hit the public, Gasol finds himself the subject of scrutiny. While he remains mum about the issue, his brother Marc Gasol does not follow the same practice. In fact, the Memphis Grizzlies star already has an opinion on where his brother should go.

"My advice to Pau, at his age with the things he cares about, not that (we've talked); my advice would be to go to San Antonio," said Marc to Peter Edmiston of Sports 56 WHBQ/87.7 FM. The Memphis Grizzlies star added, "The way (the Spurs) manage everything, they way they work as a franchise from top to bottom."

Marc reiterated this opinion in a separate interview with John Martin of ESPN. He shared, "If I had to guess-not that I've talked to him about it-would be San Antonio."

The San Antonio Spurs is undeniable a contender team. Hence, the thirst of Pau Gasol for a group capable of winning an NBA championship is clearly fulfilled by the Tim Duncan squad. Moreover, the Spanish star is looking for stability - a fact that he frequently hinted at following the entry of Fred Hoiberg in the staff. The San Antonio Spurs, meanwhile, have the longest tenured head coach in the NBA in the form of Gregg Popovich. In addition, the Tony Parker squad has no room for drama or favoritism issues with superstars Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge rejecting the spotlight to focus on their plays.

Apart from these, the imminent departure of the big three - Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker could clear some cap space for the San Antonio Spurs. Hence, there's a huge possibility that they'll have room for not only Pau Gasol but also his brother, Marc. With the size and strength of the Gasol brothers, former Portland Trail Blazers star Aldridge will need not worry about subs.
