The Washington Wizards initially mulled over a Kevin Durant free agency campaign, but eventually let go of the idea since they found the Golden State Warriors, Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs too stiff a competition to even try their luck. While the team attempts to bounce back to their glory days, reports now surface that they are looking into a Bradley Beal trade before the offseason ends. With the potential of the 23-year-old, the Washington Wizards are expected to get good value in the said NBA trade.

In the Washington Wizards, the partnership of John Wall and Bradley Beal could be likened to that of the Golden State Warriors Splash Brothers Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry or Toronto Raptors' DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry. However, it looks like the duo might be heading for a divorce soon in the same way Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant separated in the Oklahoma City Thunder or Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge broke up in the Portland Trail Blazers.

Rumors are rife that the reported disconnect between Bradley Beal and John Wall is causing the Washington Wizards critical games every season. Some fans point out how this could be likened to the then partnership of James Harden and Dwight Howard in the Houston Rockets - a team-up that failed to boost the standing of the squad in the league. Hence, it comes as no surprise that a Bradley Beal trade might be getting attention.

Between the two stars, Bradley Beal offers less to the Washington Wizards due to his inexperience in the NBA. Since John Wall is a proven leader, the team that once had Kevin Durant in their roster now wants a new support system for their leader. However, the possibility of a Bradley Beal trade is still an unconfirmed rumor. At this point, none of the parties involved have commented on the matter.

"I think a lot of times we have a tendency to dislike each other on the court," said John Wall of his relationship with Bradley Beal. He added, "We got to be able to put that to the side. If you miss somebody on one play or don't have something go right ... as long as you come to each other and talk. If I starting arguing with somebody I'm cool. I'm just playing basketball."

The Washington Wizards veteran further noted, "Now that you have your money you got to go out there and improve your game. I want you to be an All-Star just as much as I'm an All-Star."
