Chicago ended up on the wrong end of things a lot this year, and this summer could give them a chance to turn things around in a big way. If they can land Kevin Love or Carmelo Anthony, and a few other key trades, they could wreck the league next year.

That story becomes a reality for the Bulls by them doing whatever they can to pick up Kevin Love from the Timberwolves, or Carmelo Anthony from the Knicks.

Apparently Love has shown interest in Chitown, so expect Bulls' management to try anything to get him. ESPN has reported that Love mentioned Chicago and Golden State as places he would like to go.

According to Marc Stein, Love's first priority is to join a winning franchise, and he finds the Bulls 'intriguing'.

Under new coach Tom Thibodeau, Chicago has built a squad who plays great defense. Love must see that teaming up with a healthy Derrick Rose and center Joakim Noah would make a team of young superstars, ready to challenge for the championship. They would definitely put points on the board with that roster.

Carmelo Anthony has also reportedly shown interest in going to Chicago, so it will be interesting to see if the Bulls go hard for Love or Anthony. Anthony averaged over 27 points per game this past season, so he could help the Bulls offense, no doubt.

It's also no secret that the Bulls are ready to part company with Carlos Boozer, so if they could reach some kind of deal for Love or Anthony that would be optimal. If nothing can be worked up as a trade between Chicago and Minnesota or New York, The Bulls have been working on a Boozer trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers, so possibly a three way deal could go down.

Chicago would like to have another point guard too, considering Derrick Rose's health issues over the last two years, and to many in the organization, Devin Harris of the Dallas Mavericks makes a lot of sense.

With the Mavericks this season, Harris averaged 7.9 points per game and 4.5 assists per game while playing 20 minutes per game. The Bulls will be in desperate need for solid point guard play if Rose goes down again, so Harris, who has had toes issues of his own, but seems healthy now, could fill that void. He made the league minimum last year, and will be looking for a raise this year.
