We've been reading a lot of speculations about HTC One M10 (Perfume) for quite some time now. It is believed to be the HTC's big return after One M9 failed to meet the expectations of tech market.  Now, here's the latest round up of news about HTC One M10 release date, specs and features.

Many smartphone makers are expected to release their new flagship devices at Barcelona's Mobile World Congress (MWC), which is scheduled on Feb 22, 2016. However, HTC will skip the event and will release their latest device at a later date. Tech Times published that HTC One M10 will come at event in London on April 11. Also, Spanish publication 4GNews claimed the HTC's next flagship will be unveiled on April 11. The website added that the new smartphone would not be called One M10 to rebrand the product.

As of now, there's still no official word from HTC company about the release date of One M10, so we should take this info with a grain of salt.

Tech experts heavily criticized the One M9 because of its minimal features and outdated specs. Therefore, it will make sense for the Taiwanese-tech conglomerate to rebrand its next-generation flagship device with a new name (HTC Perfume) and add top-of-the-line specs to attract more buyers.

For the features of HTC M10, it is speculated to have a 5.1-inch AMOLED screen with a display resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Some rumors also point out that the device could have two color schemes -- Deep Garnet and Steel Grey -- depending on the region it is released.

The U.S. and European versions of next HTC handset are expected to boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM. For China and South-East Asia market, the handset might have MediaTek SoC, GSM Arena published.

The camera technology of HTC M10 will sport an Optical Image Stabilization, Sapphire Lens Cover ad Laser Autofocus. The rear camera is rumored to have a 12MP UltraPixel and 4MP Ultrapixel snapper for front camera.

Additionally, experience the handset's BoomSound speakers that features mini subwoofer and extra rich bass.

Several online reports said that the HTC One M10 might have Android 6.1 Marshmallow right out of the box. The new firmware from Google is packed with new and innovative features like Now on Tap and battery-friendly Doze.

Lastly, HTC M10 is expected to go neck-to-neck against the Sony Xperia Z5 and the LG G4.Will HTC M10/Perfume beat its rivals? Let's find out when it hit the stores.
