HP is rumored to release a Windows 10 Mobile smartphone in early 2016.  Online reports stated that the company could unveil the gadget, the HP Falcon, during the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona, Spain in February.

According to Windows Central, HP Falcon will have a 5.4-inch 768x1024 display. The website also published that HP is still testing the phone, and the company may decide not to launch it if it feels there is not a market for the smartphone.

As for the other phones that will sport Windows 10 OS, Tech Radar said Microsoft Lumia 950 will be one of the first handsets to have the 10th-generation of the operating system.

Windows 10 Mobile is the first attempt of Microsoft Company to unify their tablet, phone and desktop into a single operating system. By doing so, phone users can have the same interface with their desktop, including the same kernels, menus, Settings, and even Cortana.

Furthermore, users will receive full versions of Office, Word and PowerPoint and it will look and operate much the same as the desktop versions. This unification allows gadget lovers to switch between Windows devices almost seamlessly.

For example, if a user gets a notification from the Action Centre on their Windows 10 Mobile device, it will also appear on their computer and vice-versa. They can also open and edit Microsoft Office documents on different devices.

Windows 10's photo app will be one of many universal apps in the system as it syncs all of the user's images across their Windows 10 devices using OneDrive.

Microsoft will also provide a Display Dock that will have three USB ports for accessories as well as HDMI and a DisplayPort. It means users will be able to use the USB-Type C connector on the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL so they can connect it up to a monitor and use it as if it's a computer.

All current Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 phones should be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, although carrier approval processes may slow down its rollout.

According to several tech experts, there seem to be many major changes in the new mobile OS and most of the changes are related to the way it interacts with other Microsoft products. Moreover, Windows 10 is set to outlast Apple and Google operating systems in the future.
