New York Rangers vs. Pittsburgh Penguins Stanley Cup Playoffs Game 7 will begin at 4 p.m. PST/7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. The No. 5 seed Rangers will visit the No. 2 seed Penguins at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Rangers have successfully forced a Game 7 in Pittsburgh. Tied at 3-3 in the best-of-7 series, the Rangers and Penguins will both attempt to edge one another to avoid elimination and proceed onto the Stanley Cup Finals. While Rangers have made a dramatic comeback, the Penguins will have home-ice advantage, where Pittsburgh fans are expected to boo the visitors and rally their team at every turn of the tonight's game.

The Rangers avoided elimination in the Eastern Conference Second Round series by winning Game 5 and 6 against the Penguins.  

While the Penguins remained focused and did not let up, the Rangers overpowered their opponents and won with 5-1 victory in Game 5. And in Game 6, the Rangers beat the Penguins 3-1.

While Penguins had two chances to eliminate their opponents, they were unable to do so.

Rangers' forward Martin St. Louis and his teammates played their best performance on the best-of-7 series.

"These are the ones you dreamed about playing and played in your backyard," Penguins coach Dan Bylsma said of Game 7s, according to NHL.com. "These are the ones you'll remember. Game 51 you won't remember. I think we have to relish the opportunity to play in games like this, in Game 7."
