Nexus 6 Pre-order on Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular, T-Mobile and Best Buy

Google's flagship Nexus 6 smartphone has been approved by the FCC just in time for pre-order on October 29th.

While the newly discovered Federal Communications Commission documents don't name the Nexus 6 by name, they do describe a Motorola smartphone with the same external measurements as the Nexus 6.

Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular have all confirmed service on the Nexus 6 with pre-orders starting on October 29th. Although not all carriers have confirmed participation, promotional deals are expected with each carrier, featuring contract savings and possible accessory package deals. 

A retail availability date has not been confirmed in November, but many industry experts are aiming at November 8th, based on previous Nexus device launches in relation to FCC approval and pre-order start. The Nexus 6 launch will be much larger than any previous Nexus smartphone launch, thanks to the addition of the two extra carriers in the U.S. It's important to note that the only carrier with a specific retail launch date listed is T-Mobile, with a date of November 12th. 

While Google has remained silent on further details, manufacturer Motorola has confirmed that the Nexus 6 will release in "28 countries across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America starting later this year and as we head into Q1." This really only means that the rest of the world will see the Nexus 6 well into next year, after the U.S. release already confirmed for November.

One rumor from back in August describes an info leak that says the Nexus 6 will be sold at Best Buy for $499 with Sprint as the carrier. This leak may not be as credible, though, as it "confirms" the name of the Nexus 6 to be changed to the Nexus X, as was previously rumored.

As of right now, the pre-order links for all carriers, Google Play, and Best Buy on the Nexus 6 product page are still grayed out, but we hope to see more retail availability news from each carrier when pre-orders start this Wednesday.
