Baltimore Ravens' Terrence Magee Out, Jeremy Butler Plays With Joe Flacco, CJ Mosley

The Baltimore Ravens have been struggling to get out of the slump the NFL team is in this season. However, it looks like things are not going their way at all as the Joe Flacco football squad failed to reach victory over the recently concluded games against the Arizona Cardinals. 

Aside from the common areas of concern, the Baltimore Ravens point to yet another factor that possibly cost them the game: technical issues. According to reports, the Baltimore Ravens point to the loss of communication signals in the arena as one of the major problems that led to their 26-18 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

"We lost our phones, so [Joe Flacco] couldn't hear Marc [Trestman], offensive coordinator," revealed head coach John Harbaugh, referring to the final parts of the game against the Arizona Cardinals, according to ESPN. The Baltimore Ravens head coach went on to say, "I don't know why the phones were going out. They went out on that drive." Harbaugh further disclosed that the communication system of the Baltimore Ravens had been wonky throughout the football match. However, the NFL head coach shared that the issue "got bad on the final drive."

Reports claim that since the communication system of the Baltimore Ravens failed in the last quarter of the football game against the Arizona Cardinals, the instructions provided by the coaching staff to Joe Flacco had to be yelled to the player. Hence, the quarterback had to be aware of the activities in the sideline to be able to receive information from the coaching staff. Apart from that, the Baltimore Ravens had a difficult time assigning the correct personnel grouping during the game due to the same technical issue.

Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens activated Jeremy Butler in the football match against the Arizona Cardinals. Monday Night Football saw the departure of rookie Terrence Magee from the 53-man roster of the NFL team accommodate the wide receiver. The first year running back is presumably back to the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. It remains to be seen if the promotion of Jeremy Butler to the official roster will give the Baltimore Ravens the much-needed boost this NFL season.

This is the second year of Jeremy Butler with the Baltimore Ravens. In the previous NFL season, the wide receiver spent his entire time trapped in the injured reserved list of the team. Jeremy Butler had been on the practice squad of the Baltimore Ravens throughout the current NFL season until he was activated and promoted to the 53-man roster on Monday.

Week 8 of the NFL season will see the Baltimore Ravens face off against the San Diego Chargers. Scheduled on Sunday (November 1) at 2:00 pm ET, the Baltimore Ravens will play host to the San Diego Chargers at the MT&T Bank Stadium.
