The return of Rob Gronkowski sealed the deal for the New England Patriots. The Tom Brady squad beat the Houston Texans and ended the match with a 27-6 final score. Facing an NFL team that is vying for the top spot in AFC East, the JJ Watts squad had been aware of the challenges. However, the re-entry of the Gronk into the New England Patriots roster only served to strengthen an already incredibly aggressive football team.

''He's a huge influence on what we do offensively,'' shared Brady of Gronkowski after the New England Patriots defeated the Houston Texans, according to Sports Illustrated. The star quarterback added, ''He really toughed it out, so I'm proud of him. He had a big touchdown catch. He's obviously a big part of what we do so it was great to have him out there. Football is always trust and anticipation, and there's nobody that I trust more than Gronk.''

The New England Patriots tight end suffered a bone bruise injury in his right knee during the NFL game against the Denver Broncos two weeks ago. Days following the injury, Gronkowski was believed to be out for a couple of months or even possibly the entire NFL season. However, the football star had been quite vocal about his desire to get immediately back into shape and help his team.

"I'm doing everything I can to get better every single day and it feels good to be back with my teammates - just mentally and physically to be back with them out on the practice field," shared Gronkowski prior to the Houston Texans game, according to ESPN. He added, "Any other questions, you have to talk to Coach Belichick."

Fans of the New England Patriots are relieved for the return of the Gronk. Before his comeback to the football field, supporters of the Super Bowl aspirants were worried due to the two-game losing streak of the Jimmy Garoppolo squad. The New England Patriots suffered their first loss in the hands of the Denver Broncos. However, what alarmed the fans was the team's consecutive loss to the struggling Philadelphia Eagles. The DeMarco Murray squad embarrassed Keshawn Martin squad with a final score of 35-28.

The New England Patriots will be facing off against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday (December 20). The game, scheduled at 1:00 pm ET, will be held at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
