The Indianapolis Colts are scheduled to play against the Houston Texans in the Week 6 Thursday Night Football on Oct. 9, 2014. The Colts vs. Texans game will be held at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Fans can watch the game online via live stream below (free for subscribers), and on CBS and NFL Network.

Both the Colts and Texans have 3 wins and 2 losses, with Indianapolis in the lead and Colts trailing at No. 2 spot in AFC South.

On offense, the Colts stand at No. 1 in points (31.2) and pass yards (321.8), and second in total yards (439.6). Their rush yards on average is 117.8 yards (16th place).

Colts' quarterback Andrew Luck has thrown 147 of 216 attempts, with 1,617 yards and 14 touchdowns.

On defense, the Colts is ranked 14th in points allowed (21.6), 12th in yards (342.2), 16th in pass yards (240.4), and 12th in rush yards (101.8).

On offense, the Texans are ranked 23rd in points (20.8), 22nd in total yards (338), 24th in pass yards (211), and 11th in rush yards (127).

Houston's quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is going 89 for 137 pass attempts, with 1,056 yards and 5 touchdowns. Running back Arian Foster has 86 carries, with 404 yards and three touchdowns.

On defense, Texans are ranked 4th in total points allowed (17.4) despite low rankings in yards (26th), pass yards (21st), and rush yards (25th).

Houston's Fitzpatrick is able to buy some time through the superb defense led by defensive tackle J. J. Watt to catch up and win three of the last five games. In the next game, Texans defense will again be put to the test as they face Luck, who has had one of his best seasons so far.

Leading up to Week 6, Colts defeated the Ravens (20-13), Titans (41-17), Jaguars (44-17), and lost to Eagles (27-30) and to Broncos (24-31).

Meanwhile, the Texans defeated the Redskins (17-6), Raiders (30-14), Bills (23-17), and lost to Giants (17-30) and to Cowboys (17-20).

Several of the Colts' chief blockers are injured,  which means that Watt may easily slow down Colts' O-Line. While Colts sports the league's top offense, the lack of offensive linemen lessen the team's chances of a win.

"We could have 12 offensive linemen and I'd still be scared," said Colts coach Chuck Pagano, speaking of Watt, according to IndyStar. "It doesn't matter how many we've got in there. That guy is as good as it gets."

"He's long, lengthy, twitchy, fast, competitive," he added. "He's a freak."

If Colts want to secure a win, they must stop Watt, who has been playing like the Defensive Player of the Year, with 16 quarterback hits, 15 tackles, four tackles for loss, three passes defended, two sacks, an interception return for a touchdown, a blocked extra point and a fumble recovery. He was named AFC's Defensive Player of the Month.
