The Kansas City Chiefs is scheduled to play against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, September 21, in Week 3 of 2014 NFL. The Chiefs (0-2) vs. Dolphins (1-1) football game will begin at 1:25 p.m. PT at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Going into Week 3, the Chiefs are ranked 4th in AFC West after losing to the Titans 26-10 in Week 1 and to Broncos 17-24 in Week 2.

On Offense, the Chiefs are ranked 30th in points, 26th in yards, 18th in passing, and 22nd in rush yards.

On defense, Kansas City are ranked 23rd in points, total yards, and rush yards.

Quarterback Alex Smith is going 45 of 77 with 457 yards and one touchdown. Running back Knile Davis has 23 carries, with 82 yards and a pair of rush touchdowns.

For Dolphins offense, the team is ranked 21st in points, yards, 24th in pass yards, and 10th in rush yards.

On defense, Miami is ranked 21st in points allowed (24.5), 9th in yards (315), 15th in pass yards (214), and 13th in rush yards (101).

The Dolphins is ranked 2nd in AFC East, with a 20-33 win over the Patriots in Week 1 and a 10-29 loss to Buffalo Bills in Week 2. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is going 49 of 81 with 419 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Knowshon Moreno has 25 carries with 138 yards and one touchdown.

Judging from both teams' performances so far, the Dolphins is poised to win the game on Sunday.

On Monday, running back Jamaal Charles of the Chiefs were reported to be injured with a high ankle injury. Without a solid running backs on the field, Kansas City won't be able to compete on the same level as the Dolphins, but perhaps coach Andy Reid are able to put together a strategy for the team to win the game.
