The Denver Broncos are once again the situation wherein too many talented quarterbacks are in their roster. With the entry of Mark Sanchez fresh off from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Von Miller squad, fans of the former Peyton Manning team assumed that he will be the starter. However, the move of the Super Bowl 50 champs to sign Paxton Lynch posed questions regarding the position formerly competed over by Brock Osweiler and Peyton Manning. Amid the speculations in relation to the rivalry of the New York Jets quarterback and the rookie, a dark horse rises from behind - Trevor Siemian.

Siemian, who was signed by the Denver Broncos in 2015 and made his debut in December against the Pittsburgh Steelers of Ben Roethlisberger, has never been part of the speculations regarding the starting position before. However, training camp appears to be the great equalizer for the Von Miller team as reports are claiming that Paxton Lynch is not a threat to Mark Sanchez. In fact, the ex-teammate of DeMarco Murray appears to be wary of the unexpectedly notable Trevor Siemain.

"It is different," Gary Kubiak shared of the quarterback situation of the Denver Broncos. The head coach added, "It's unusual for the most part in this league. But I think we have a good situation, too, because I see three really good football players. ... What I'm trying to do is make sure I walk off the field every day where they've each got 40 reps or whatever and I can sit down and take a look at where they're at and how they're doing because I know the team is looking at the same thing."

All things considered, the sheer presence of Siemain in the Denver Broncos for the past year and his experience of witnessing firsthand how Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler operated give him the advantage. However, Sanchez has been playing in the professional gridiron longer than the Northwestern star. As for Lynch, his inexperience in the NFL makes it difficult for him to compete with the two stars.

"That's an interesting dynamic," commented Kubiak of the quarterback competition among the three stars. He added, "Mark is the guy with the experience, but he has no experience here. He's got his own problems right now of getting everything down."

Meanwhile, Sanchez is not one to rest on his laurels. With the quarterback competition heating up, the former Sam Bradford backup has no plans of easing up on his training. In fact, Sanchez feels more pressured to step it up and prove his mettle as the leader of the Denver Broncos roster - one worthy to be called the successor of Peyton Manning.

"Of course. I think you have to expect that. That's the way you have to compete. There's no second-guessing yourself," shared Sanchez. He added, "When you get on the field, you've got to be the 'baddest' dude out there and play your butt off."
