The Denver Broncos are trailing behind the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West, with the Von Miller team failing to match the performances of the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys for a potential back-to-back Super Bowl run this year. Without Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler leading the team, they are left with rookie Paxton Lynch and former third stringer Trevor Siemian. However, things are expected to change soon as a Michael Vick contract could be on its way.

The changes in the Denver Broncos roster have made it challenging for the Von Miller squad to regain their momentum from their successful Super Bowl run against the Carolina Panthers. With no veteran quarterback taking charge of the Paxton Lynch group and helping the younger stars, the team has become vulnerable to attacks and eventually had their morale affected. However, it appears that the front office might think that a Michael Vick contract would finally change things for the better.

The former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback has been open to the possibility of his NFL return since last season. While a Michael Vick contract still has to be officially commented on by the parties concerned, rumors are rife that the Denver Broncos want to sign the veteran free agent. Although the controversial quarterback could not be realistically expected to stay with the team for long, fans believe that his presence could give struggling rookie Paxton Lynch the much-needed confidence in the gridiron.

The Denver Broncos’ decision to go with Trevor Siemian as their starter this NFL season has raised eyebrows in the league especially with the notable performances of Brock Osweiler and Peyton Manning last season. With the NFL draft that saw them sign Paxton Lynch, the same star eyed by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, fans started to wonder why the rookie was not granted the same chance as Dak Prescott. Meanwhile, others think that a Trevor Siemian trade is in order to make room for a Michael Vick contract.

At the moment, there remains no official confirmation regarding this NFL rumor. However, fans believe that a Michael Vick contract could help Paxton Lynch become a better quarterback. Regardless of the troubled past of the former Philadelphia Eagles star, many are confident over his talent and leadership.

What do you think? Will a Michael Vick contract help the Denver Broncos? Will this finally inspire Paxton Lynch to live up to his potential?
