The Denver Broncos seem to have what a number of NFL teams are vying to attain this offseason - an abundance of talented quarterbacks. At the moment, the quarterback post has two potential leads: Mark Sanchez, who came from the Philadelphia Eagles, and Paxton Lynch, the first-round NFL draft pick. In the previous season, the Super Bowl 50 champs also had two very promising quarterbacks to choose from: Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler. With the overflowing talent willing to carry the Denver Broncos to greatness once again, who will be the top quarterback of the NFL team?

The entry of Paxton Lynch, who was also eyed by the Dallas Cowboys as the potential sub of Tony Romo and the Seattle Seahawks as the understudy of Russell Wilson, in the Denver Broncos roster made the position of former Philadelphia Eagles star Mark Sanchez as the top quarterback questionable. Due to the rookie's notable talent and natural skills in the gridiron, a number of fans believe that the former New York Jets star might take the backseat in the Von Miller squad this NFL season.

Is this possible? Are the Denver Broncos really considering putting Paxton Lynch as the lead star over the experienced Mark Sanchez? Can a rookie truly take over a Super Bowl contender team?

"Just from watching, it's real hard cause so much goes into a battle like that," commented Jake Plummer of the quarterback situation of the Denver Broncos. The former NFL quarterback added, "But right now it looks like all three are very highly capable of running the system. It's just a matter of who runs it the most efficiently and can lead the guys the right way. That's what it's gonna come down to. I think all three of them could get it done." The third quarterback is Trevor Siemian.

Plummer further noted, "Mark's kind of working what he can do with the thumb, so it's hard to get a good gauge. But again, [he's] a guy I know that can run this system. He's played at a high level already, so if anybody has an advantage, I'd say it'd be him, because he's been in the fire."

Meanwhile, Plummer admits that he is "impressed" with the "arm" of Lynch. He shared, "The rookie looks good - throwing some good balls. I'm impressed by his arm and also the fact that he's big, but he doesn't look big. He looks spry and quick, like a smaller guy would look."

Apart from Siemian, Lynch and Sanchez, another quarterback is rumored to still be under consideration for the Denver Broncos. San Francisco 49ers star Colin Kaepernick, who has been linked with the Super Bowl 50 champs since the beginning of the NFL offseason, is reportedly under consideration. With an uncertain future with the Chip Kelly team and the possibility of permanently losing his spot to Blaine Gabbert, Kap is said to be open to lowering his pay to be with the Denver Broncos.
