Compared to other teams in the NFL, the Houston Texans are doing fairly well with 4 wins and 2 losses under their belt. But, despite their record, the team might lose starting quarterback Brock Osweiler after he had a heated exchange with head coach Bill O'Brien.

The Texans just came from an overtime win against the Indianapolis Colts at Week 6. However, despite their victories, it seems the coaching staff is regretting the organization's decision to sign Osweiler after he came from the Denver Broncos' Super Bowl victory last year.

According to a recent report, a source claiming to be close to the team said that Osweiler and O'Brien had an intense argument earlier this week that led to both men shouting at each other.

Apparently, the exchange happened during routine meeting where the team discussed the Week 5 loss against the Minnesota Vikings. As the team was going over the previous game, Osweiler reportedly raised his objections regarding certain calls made by O'Brien.

This, of course, had a serious effect on the coach, who took over the team's play-calling responsibilities earlier in the season. As the two men discussed the matter, it escalated into a loud argument which did not go unnoticed by the other people present in the meeting.

If Osweiler and O'Brien continue to clash regarding the Texans' offensive plays, the organization might resort to making a huge change in its current lineup. This, of course, will not involving removing O'Brien from the picture since he has done a good job overseeing the team. Instead, the Houston franchise might pull out Osweiler from the field and replace him with backup QB Tom Savage.

This will probably not sit well for Osweiler and will most likely demand to be traded if he gets replaced. He can't rely on free agency next year since he signed a four-year contract with the team last offseason that's worth about $72 million.

Instead, if he continues to be unhappy with how O'Brien runs the team, he might ask the organization to form trade deals with other team. Other franchises will most likely be happy to sign him especially since many teams are currently missing their starting quarterbacks because of their various injuries.
