Competing for the post after Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez are former New England Patriots star Tim Tebow and Matt Barkley. While the NFL preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts saw Barkley in the third quarterback spot, reports are now surfacing that Tim Tebow is showing notable improvement in his performance.

Chip Kelly, the coach of Philadelphia Eagles, is reportedly enamored with the progress of Tim Tebow. His commendations for the former New England Patriots star now fuels the speculation that Barkley might be out of job. Moreover, the claimed improvements of Tim Tebow bode well for the fans and followers of the Philadelphia Eagles as this would mean that Sam Bradford will no longer need to rush his recovery and put too much strain on Mark Sanchez.

A source close to the matter recently revealed that the running skill of Tim Tebow has been continuously gaining praises from coach Kelly. Apart from his stronger stance and better understanding of the Philadelphia Eagles gameplays, his improvement in throwing around the football combined with his running ability make him a perfect fit in the NFL team. In addition to these skills, the freshly implemented two-point rule and in short-yardage instances of the Philadelphia Eagles will definitely work to Tim Tebow's advantage.

Tim Tebow first impressed the fans of the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL preseason game over the past weekend against the Indianapolis Colts, according to ESPN. During the said NFL match, Tim Tebow managed to complete 6 out of the 12 passes for 69 yards. He was also recorded to have carried the ball four time for 15 yards. The Philadelphia Eagles also saw the aspiring third quarterback make a touchdown. Should Tim Tebow continue with this kind of aggression and agility in the succeeding NFL games, then his position in the Philadelphia Eagles roster is guaranteed. As for his competitor, Barkley, the quarterback will be placed in the NFL trading block.

Meanwhile, the first quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles appear to be gearing up for a healthier physique this upcoming NFL season. Discussing his knee injury and the manner by which the Philadelphia Eagles and coach Kelly handled the situation, Sam Bradford shared his activities during the NFL offseason.

 "We had a plan during the offseason," shared the Philadelphia Eagles first quarterback, according to a separate ESPN report. He added, "I was fairly limited during OTAs, knowing that our goal was to be ready for training camp. Until you get out here and go through it, you're really not sure how your knee is going to hold up. Through the first three weeks, it's held up great. There hasn't been any swelling. I haven't had to sit out any days. I haven't had to take time off."

The same sentiments were echoed by his Philadelphia Eagles coach. Kelly said, "It's kind of what we anticipated." He further discussed, "It's the plan we had for him all along, that he would be ready to go at the start of preseason camp. He's done it and he's had no ill effects. There's never been any day where we go, 'Hey, his knee is bothering him, we need to take days off,' or anything like that."

At the moment, Tim Tebow has yet to be officially declared as the third quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. As for Sam Bradford, fans of the NFL team will just have to stay tuned and wait if his knees allow him to perform in his usual glory in the upcoming season.
