The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a disappointing NFL season that ended with the exit of two key stars in the team - head coach Chip Kelly and expensive running back DeMarco Murray. Given the current state of affairs in the Darren Sproles team, it looks like they will be scouting for a quarterback very soon. Sam Bradford, who has been the lead playmaker in the team, is voicing out his desire to be traded.

Emotions ran high when the Philadelphia Eagles shared their plans of looking into potential quarterbacks in the NFL draft. Among the list of possible rookies to sign are Carson Wentz and Paxton Lynch - both of which are frontrunners to be first-round picks. While talks of this kind of deals are not unusual in the league, with stars like Tony Romo who even encouraged the Dallas Cowboys to look for a sub for him, the news did not please Bradford.

The former St Louis Rams star, later on, disclosed his desire to be traded from the Philadelphia Eagles. According to the quarterback, he wants to be on a football team that regards him as their starting star throughout the NFL season. Hence, he found it demeaning when the Philadelphia Eagles allegedly made plans behind his back to sign a new quarterback.

"As they were making this plan, it would have been nice if they had told him about it," shared Tom Condon of the issue linking Bradford to NFL trade deals. Bradford's agent added, "It's his right to demand a trade and he wants to be traded."

Condon further revealed that the demand of Bradford did not shock the Philadelphia Eagles front office. The agent shared that his client had been quite open about his displeasure with the direction the NFL team was going. Condon described Bradford as "not happy" with the recent deals, adding that he had made his stand "very clear" to the management.

So where does this leave Bradford? According to insiders, the Denver Broncos are interested in signing Bradford. Earlier this year, the Super Bowl 50 champs already signed another quarterback from the Philadelphia Eagles - Mark Sanchez. Will this mean a reunion for the two?

"[T]he Broncos called the Eagles for a very basic discussion about Bradford," disclosed Conor Orr of NFL.com, citing the sources of Ian Rapoport of NFL Media Insider. Orr added, "No compensation was discussed, and the main takeaway was that Philadelphia wants to hold on to the former No. 1 overall pick."
