The Seattle Seahawks are predicted to take back their Super Bowl crown this NFL season. However, the exit of Marshawn Lynch might just have put a halt to their title run. The Russell Wilson injury concerns are also posting issues for the Kam Chancellor squad. This is why a Michael Vick contract might just be on its way to the Seattle Seahawks this season.

The former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback has been openly declaring his desire to return to professional football. So far, though, no NFL team has come forward to sign a Michael Vick contract. However, teams like the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots have been linked to the veteran. Even the Philadelphia Eagles reportedly considered him as an experienced mentor to rookie Carson Wentz especially after the exit of Sam Bradford.

Among all these teams, analysts feel that the Seattle Seahawks might be the best fit for a Michael Vick contract. With the massive Marshawn Lynch contract off their cap space, the Kam Chancellor team can easily accommodate a good deal for the veteran quarterback. Moreover, Michael Vick can serve as a promising backup for Russell Wilson.

"I look for Michael Vick to be in the mix," shared Phil Savage in an interview about potential Seattle Seahawks backup quarterback. The analyst added, "To me, he would really fit this team in terms of the mobility, what he brings to the table, and he'd be a veteran presence behind Russell Wilson."

At this point, though, the parties concerned have not yet offered an official comment on the matter. However, some fans are worried over the effect of having Michael Vick in the roster. That is, his issues off the gridiron might pose threats to the reputation of the Seattle Seahawks. As for the other fans, they feel that Russell Wilson is capable of handling the issue and noted that he is a good leader for the team.

"Russell's a great leader," shared Pete Carroll. The Seattle Seahawks head coach added, "He makes great statements about who he is and who we are and represents us beautifully."

Aside from Russell Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks also have a leader in Kam Chancellor. Both men have been selected to head the NFL team this season. Hence, issues of a negative effect that might come from a Michael Vick contract seems to be covered by the two alphas of the football squad.

"There isn't a finer guy to have as your captain than Kam Chancellor," noted Pete Carroll. "He is the epitome of what you're looking for, in all ways, and everybody knows it, which is a good part of that."
