The Denver Broncos are in a unique position this NFL season. Since the Von Miller squad just bagged the Super Bowl 50 trophy, the typical reaction would be for football stars to crowd to get on their roster. However, this is not the case right now. At the moment, both Super Bowl 50 quarterbacks of the Denver Broncos have abandoned the NFL team with Peyton Manning retiring and Brock Osweiler swapping sides to the Houston Texans.

The quarterback crisis of the team heightened when the only player they were able to sign so far is Mark Sanchez who is best known for his "butt fumble" stint with the New York Jets. Despite the attempts of the former Philadelphia Eagles star to win the hearts of the Denver Broncos fans, the majority still feel that a better quarterback should be signed soon. One name, in particular, has been chanted by football supporters throughout the offseason: Tim Tebow.

Given the loyal following the Tebow, it comes as no surprise that the former Heisman Trophy winner is once again pushed to become the starting quarterback of the Denver Broncos. While some fans are content with social media posts to express their dream of seeing Tebow back on the professional gridiron, others took their campaign a notch higher. Will Garner, an avid fan of Tebow, created a petition in Change.org. In his campaign, he calls on the Denver Broncos to re-sign Tebow as the starting quarterback of the Super Bowl 50 champs.

"The Denver Broncos have lost their two main quarterbacks from their epic 2016 Super Bowl Championship winning season," wrote Garner in the petition. He added, "We need a proven winner to continue to move this team in the right direction. Coach Gary Kubiak's offense would thrive with Tebow under center. He and the legendary John Elway can make this happen. We don't need a subpar throwaway from some other team, we need an original Bronco who has the fire, desire, and love of the game to play as a Bronco again! As a bonus, the Bronco fans would be ecstatic! He just wins, we all know this! #TebowTime"

As of this writing, the petition has managed to gain 2,593 signatures from fans of both Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos. In addition to the signatures, the petition is also filled with positive comments about the Florida star.

"Tim Tebow has an ability to lead unlike no other. He is multi-faceted and talented. He deserves another chance in the NFL, why not the Broncos again?" said Rene Condon of Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Michelle Buckner of San Diego shared her love and respect for the game. She wrote, in part, "I am an eternal die hard Broncos fan! That being said, I always want what's best for the team. Right now, that IS undeniably Tim Tebow!"

It remains to be seen if the Denver Broncos will heed the call of the petitioners. With his overwhelming popularity in and out of the NFL, Tim Tebow is undoubtedly one of the most well-loved quarterbacks in the league. Does this mean that Mark Sanchez could lose the Denver Broncos starting job to the Christian star?
