With just a few days before the June 16-18, 2015 E3 2015 or Electronic Entertainment Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center, there is still no word from Sony Computer Entertainment and game developer Hello Games if the much-anticipated game of the year, No Man's Sky will be released as scheduled.

One thing is sure though, Sony Computer Entertainment has sent invites for a June 15 press conference. The invite is very straightforward with very few details, except the basics, including the time and the venue for the press conference. Even around this time, Sony is keeping its cards very close to its heart and does not want to reveal if No Man's Sky will be unveiled this June, reported Christian Today.

With the lack of details, speculations abound about what Sony will be discussing during the E3 presscon. It was rumored that Sony will be celebrating the 20^th anniversary of PlayStation during the E3 convention.

There were also rumors that Sony Computer Entertainment will use the press conference to showcase its soon-to-be released titles for PlayStation 4, including "No Man's Sky" as well as LittleBigPlanet's platform video game "Tearaway," which will make its console debut after having a lackluster run on PlayStation Vita.

Speaking to MCV recently, PlayStation UK's Fergal Gara said that PlayStation is committed to giving its full support to the development of No Man's Sky, reported VG247.com. He added that that No Man's Sky will be treated "as if it was from one of our internal studios",  as he described the close working relationship between Sony Computer Entertainment and Hello Games developers as well as the smooth integration of the game into the company's release program.

Gara commented, "We (Sony PlayStation) are going to put the full weight of PlayStation behind it. If it all comes together as well as expected, it will be treated like a first-party release; it is not a self-published small indie title on the platform," as he described the level of commitment the company has thrown at the promising indie title, No Man's Sky.

Gara added that he believed that there are plenty of indie game titles available for PlayStation that have the "potential to break free from the confines of what we would normally expect from such games."

He advised the developers of this indie titles to try to expand by not limiting a digital release of their games but also focus on physical release of the product.

It was earlier reported that Hello Games and Sony Computer Entertainment would not be able to fulfill their promise of releasing No Man's Sky in June this year during the E3 convention despite working insane number of hours in a mad rush to create a revolutionary breakthrough in the gaming world.

No Man's Sky is expected to become the biggest title in the gaming community this year in terms of scale as it involves a massive 18 quintillion worlds, beyond what the human mind can imagine.

No Man's Sky features procedurally generated open universe that allows players to explore and upgrade their characters as well as their command ships and starships. These massive features of No Man's Sky have ignited concerns amongst industry players that Hello Games will not be able to meet its set deadline.
