No confirmation on No Man's Sky release date yet. Hello Games

Video gamers around the world are waiting for the release of No Man's Sky, a survival game developed by indie British studio Hello Games. However, reports said the release would be delayed because of "technical issues."

According to a published report, the game should be coming out in June next year for PC and PS4 consoles. But because of the news about the postponement of its release, some gaming fans speculate that something went wrong during the development.

In 2013, Hello Games announced that they are developing the game together with Sony Computer Entertainment. According to Sony Commercial Director Fergal Gara, the company is going to "put the full weight of PlayStation behind" the game.

"If it all comes together as well as expected, it will be treated as a first-party release; it is not a self-published small indie title on the platform," Gara added.

After the announcement of the joint project from Hello Games and Sony Entertainment, little has been learned about the game.

For some curious fans, they found that No Man's Sky's release date was on Oct. 27, 2015, based on Amazon U.K.'s site. But in Paris games week, the game developer stressed the actual release date is June 2016.

Some experts speculate that the problem came from the game's handheld features. The technical issues could also be the problem why the game's demo was not presented in the E3 event this year.

"We're just trying to represent it, we think that is exciting, the game is exciting," Sean Murray, one of the game developers, said in response to unconfirmed reports.

On another hand, HardcoreGamer published that Amazon U.S.A. revealed No Man's Sky has pre-orders for the PlayStation 4 at the price of $59.99. Amazon said the release date of the game was on June 30, 2016.

The current price of the game is a big issue for some gamers. They said they would not pay that much for an indie game created by a small team.

The game has often been compared with "Minecraft." But the game developers were quick to dismiss the claims that the two games are very similar.

An online analysis states that in the game, players has a mission to mine individual elemental resources by using laser multitool-- a game play that is similar to Minecraft. Furthermore, players of No Man's Sky have a goal to reach the center of cosmos and get more resources to acquire the most sophisticated tools.
