There have been many rumors surrounding the release of the much-anticipated video game 'No Man's Sky' from Hello Games'. Some say the game would not be released until 2016 while others are saying the game will be unveiled this August 2015. Others are hoping that Halo will pull a surprise during the E3 convention that will be held June 16-18, 2015 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

But the most interesting bit of news about the No Man's Sky Release is the Tweet exchange between the game's lead developer Sean Murray and controversial rapper Kanye West. In his Twitter account @NoMansSky Murray told West, "I just wrote 3,000 lines of code and it compiled first time. Thought you'd want to know."

Kim Kardashian's husband is celebrating his birthday on June 8 and rumors have started to circulate No Man's Sky will have its debut on said date on PlayStation 4 format, according to Design&Trend. Already, loyal fans of the video game speculated the significance of West's birthday. Will Murray and his team make a major announcement on June 8 involving the actual unveiling of the game or probably announce an official release date?

The report also noted Hello Games might probably wait until Sony's E3 press conference to make some announcement about No Man's Sky.

In an interview with The New Yorker last month, Murray also expressed concern about the release date of No Man's Sky. "The biggest worry for me is that we release the game because of all the momentum behind it before we are happy with it," Murray said.

Sony to Give Full Support to No Man's Sky Development

PlayStation UK's Managing Director Fergal Gara has earlier assured the company will provide full support to No Man's Sky integration with PlayStation consoles ahead of the coming release date.

"We have been working very closely with the [No Man's Sky] developers and bringing it into our release program as if we had made it. We are not going to treat it any differently and we are going to put the full weight of PlayStation behind it. If it all comes together as well as expected, it will be treated like a first-party release. It is not self-published small indie title on the platform," Gara explained.

No Man's Sky will first make its appearance on Sony's PlayStation 4 console under a timed exclusive deal.  A PC version will be released later, probably next year, said Game Spot.

Microsoft Also Wants No Man's Sky In Xbox Console

Of course, Microsoft also wants to have a piece of the pie in No Man's Sky's sales. After all, it is one of the most anticipated games of the year. In the latest Inner Circle podcast, ID@Xbox director Chris Charla commented, "I would love to see [No Man's Sky] on the Xbox One, but that it was up to the game's developer, Hello Games."

Charla explained that he understands the reluctance of some game developers to release games on Microsoft Xbox consoles because of the company's parity clause that requires games to be launched on the same day they are released on other consoles. But he insisted the policy can be easily explained if developers would reach out to Microsoft.

He said, "If you're worried about policies, we try to be really easy to get in touch with. When we talk to developers, we try to be really transparent. Don't assume that something you read on Neogaf is our policy, just talk to us."

The parity clause, which requires games launch on the same day they do on other platforms like the PlayStation 4 or PC, has been the topic of some controversy among gamers and developers alike. It was put in place, according to Xbox director Phil Spencer, to make Xbox One owners feel "first class." As Charla discussed in the podcast, however, it can also make gamers feel left out when a game they really want doesn't launch on the console because of a business decision.

No Man's Sky is a game about exploration and survival in an infinite procedurally generated galaxy. You can view the official trailer here.
