Nokia Lumia 1525 US Release Date: Coming to Verizon, AT&T And T-Mobile Soon

Nokia's Lumia 1525 phablet comes with a powerful Snapdragon processor, and will be available on AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.

This latest information comes courtesy of EV Leaks, who revealed tantalizing new details concerning Nokia's upcoming mobile device.

"The Lumia 1525 from Nokia by Microsoft is a Windows Phone 8.1-powered 1520 with the SoC upgraded to a Snapdragon 801," EV Leaks tweeted on Monday. "Besides T-Mobile, it's also going to - wait for it, wait for it - AT&T and Verizon."

EV Leaks' details contradict earlier claims by Phone Arena, which reported in January that the Lumia 1525 will come with the Snapdragon 805 processor.

It has been rumored that the upcoming Lumia 1525 will have a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage.

Even so, other sources argue that the new tablet will follow same specifications as the current model Lumia 1520 that has the same 6-inch display, but with a lower resolution of 1080 x 1920. Also, the Lumia 1520 uses the older Snapdragon 800 processor.

At this time, the specific release date for the Nokia Lumia 1525 remains unconfirmed. For now, the only information available exists within the realm of tech gossip. The launch date for the Lumia 1520 occurred last November via AT&T.
