The NBA All-Star 2017 may have ended but the excitement goes on in the league. After the shocking DeMarcus Cousins trade, it appears that another All-Star is on his way out of his current basketball team. Refusing to take the backseat in the competition against the Golden State Warriors for the top seed, it looks like Russell Westbrook and his team have finally found a way to counter the super team of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant.

The Kevin Durant contract with the Golden State Warriors is regarded as one of the most controversial decisions in the NBA. Critics feel that the former Oklahoma City Thunder star chose the easy way out by forming a super team with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green - a group that rivals the once teamup of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in the Miami Heat.

Rumors are rife that a Giannis Antetokounmpo contract is set to be signed in Oklahoma. The Milwaukee Bucks star, who has been stunning the basketball league since Day 1, is reportedly getting shipped to help boost the Russell Westbrook stats this season. While this remains a speculation, fans expect the NBA trade to be bigger than the DeMarcus Cousins trade to the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Oklahoma City Thunder continue to struggle with the exit of Kevin Durant. With KD joining forces with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, they are arguably the runaway top dogs in the Western Conference. If the OKC could truly secure a Giannis Antetokounmpo contract though, then the status quo would be bound to change instantly.

"Giannis Antetokounmpo, this guy is scary," said Kevin Durant of the Milwaukee Bucks star in an interview. The Golden State Warriors star added, "He's more athletic than I am. He's longer than me. He's faster. He's going to be stronger than I am."

Throughout his career, fans have compared Giannis Antetokounmpo with Kevin Durant. The two cover basically the same length in the hardwood court and present roughly similar skills both in defense and offense. This makes the Milwaukee Bucks star a strong contender among the stars eyed to play alongside Russell Westbrook. With the two working together, the Oklahoma City Thunder could become one of the strongest contenders in the league.

What do you think? Will a Giannis Antetokounmpo contract to the OKC help with the already astounding Russell Westbrook stats this season? Can the Milwaukee Bucks star be the next Kevin Durant? Will the "Greek Freak" be the gamechanger to finally beat the teamup of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and KD?
