The Thunder and Clippers are tied in the best-of-7 series at 1-1. The matchup tonight again features Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant, who was named MVP for 2014, and Clippers' Chris Paul, the MVP for 2013. Meanwhile, Clipper's Jamal Crawford was also awarded the NBA Sixth Man.

In Game 1, Thunder beat the Clippers in a 112-101 victory. In Game 2, the Clippers came back and tied the series. In Game 3, the result ultimately depends on whether Durant and Russell Westbrook can be contained.

Durant had 32 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists, and Westbrook had 31 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

"We have to take that and then add to that," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said, according to AP. "You can't be satisfied. The intensity as the series goes along improves and it becomes greater, and we have to make the next jump."

The Clippers finished as the highest-scoring team during the regular season with 107.9 points per game, while the Thunder came in fifth with 106.2 points per contest. Oklahoma City ranked 12th in opponents' scoring, while LA was two spots worse.

During the season, the two squads were evenly-matched. The Thunder has won five of the last seven meetings, but the two sides split four meetings this season. Each team won a road game during the four matchups in the 2013-14 campaign
