Season 5 of ABC's hit fairy tale drama series, Once Upon A Time premiers on September 27, and with nearly a month before the first episode of the next season is shown, fans are treated with a galore of spoilers from spicy pictures to new trailers about Sorcerer Merlin's quest to defeat the evil ancient darkness and free Emma.

A series of photos posted on Instagram by @CaptainColiferSwan showing main characters Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) sharing a kiss. One of the photos also showed the new Dark One wearing an all-white ensemble.

The photo was captioned, "Okay I am going to post all my CS pictures of you guys. Please Give credit don't crop out my watermark. Thanks."

According to a report, the next installment of Once Upon a Time will pick up where the last season left off. It quoted from TVLine's interview with O'Donoghue as he described how Hook will be responding to Emma's new role in the upcoming episodes.

O'Donoghue said, "Hook, he loves Emma, and he loves her for who she is as the savior. He spent so much of last season trying to protect her, like everybody else, from the darkness. I think that he'll do whatever it takes to try and bring that person back, because he knows what it's like to get into the darkness."

Another picture shared via Twitter reveals a young King Arthur and Guinevere. TVLine described Arthur as a good and just ruler who rose from a humble beginning. However, Arthur is also a master manipulator and does not forget his enemy and carries a grudge to his grave. He is also deeply in love with queen Guinevere.

Joana Metrass (Sinias de Vida) will be playing Guinevere who is secretly in love with Lancelot (Sinqua Walls), King Arthur's most trusted knight. She will be forced to balance her own happiness with the well-being of Camelot.

First Look at Once Upon a Time Trailer

ABC has released the first minute trailer of Upon a Time focusing on the aftermath after the darkness has swallowed Emma with Regina (Lana Parrilla), Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin), Charming (Josh Dallas), Hook, Henry (Jared Gilmore) and Robin (Sean Maguire) reacting.

The characters were left stunned with what happened, when Regina suddenly spoke and said,

"How could she be so stupid?" This earned a rebuke from Snow who reminded Regina that Emma saved her life. Regina replied back, "Don't you think I know that?"

In an earlier interview, Parrilla shared her character is apprehensive and anxious on what Once Upon A Time Season 5 would bring. Admitting that Regina has always been perceived as an evil, conniving character, Parrilla believes that playing the "hero" and "savior" in the upcoming season would definitely be challenging. However, Regina is more than prepared to put her life on the line to save Emma from the darkness in Once Upon a Time Season 5.

"We don't know what's going to happen," revealed Parrilla, referring to the uncertainty faced by her character in Once Upon a Time Season 5. She further said, "Regina is very experienced when it comes to sort of crossing over into the dark side and committing evil acts and so she's worried about what that will do to Emma."

In the clip, Hook could also be seen picking up the dagger left behind when Emma disappeared and commanded her to come back.

Hook commanded, "Dark One, with this dagger I command thee. Return!" to no avail. The clip provided sufficient details to keep the fans waiting for the official release date of Once Upon a Time.

Once Upon a Time season 5 premieres Sunday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
