Latest on OnePlus 3 rumors

Chinese phone maker is set to a release a revolutionary smartphone that can be fully charged in just 15 minutes. Leaked documents from China's telecoms regulator revealed OnePlus 3 has fast-charging technology that will increase the productivity of its users. Now, here's latest roundup of update about OnePlus 3 U.S. release date, specs and rumors on the web.

According to the documents from China's telecoms regulator TENAA, the OnePlus 3 will have become available with 15-minute charging technology. This fast-charging feature is developed by Oppo, a Chinese tech company that is now the world's fourth-biggest phone manufacturer.

Earlier this year, Oppo revealed its fast-charging technology called "VOOC" at Mobile World Congress. The company demonstrated the technology by powering up a 2500mAh battery in less than 15 minutes on stage. The feature uses a low voltage of 5 volts to stay within the industry standards. Oppo ensures users that the VOOC is safe, stable and reliable.

Furthermore, a VOOC-powered phone has a lower temperature during charging compared to other devices.  Buyers can also safely use their phone while charging.

It is also interesting to note that OnePlus is a  subsidiary of Oppo, so it is not surprising that the latter allowed using its technology to the OnePlus 3 smartphone.

Techno Buffalo reports the OnePlus 3 has a 3500mAh battery, a 200mAh increase from the OnePlus 2 (3300mAh). With VOOC technology, buyers can enjoy the device for the longer time.

As for the other specs of OnePlus 3, it sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display. Inside, it has Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chip and Android 6.0 operating system.  Also, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front facing shooter.

The same source Techno Buffalo says buyers can choose two versions of OnePlus 3. There's a cheaper version with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage that costs around $307. The top-spec variant has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with roughly $384 price tag.

Tech Radar claims OnePlus 3 could be released this spring, and the phone maker may make its official announcement later this month.  There's also reports that say May 18 is the announcement date of the One Plus 3.

We'll give you more details as soon as we know more. For now, let's wait and see if the device will be announced this month.
