Orange is the New Black

The third season of the popular drama - or comedy - hit series (The Emmy's said the series is categorized as drama for awards purposes), Orange is the New Black, premiers on June 12. Season 3 of the popular drama series will be the longest with 14 episodes lined up by Netflix.

Netflix's women-in-prison show focuses on the lives of women inmates at the Litchfield Penitentary where fans are introduced to a colorful cast of characters, including, pacifist nuns, nutty psychopaths, oversexed jokesters, lovesick stalkers, methhead holy rollers, transgender hairdressers and, just for variety, one über-privileged drug-smuggling WASP, Rolling Stones said.

Showrunner Jenji Kohan and Netflix have released a new trailer of Orange is the New Black that provided several hints of what's in store for the fans in the upcoming season.

In another video, Lori Petty could be seen suggesting two options that fans should expect when she returns in Season 3 of Orange is the New Black as new Litchfield inmate Lolly. In Season 2, Lolly was introduced as Piper's talkative seatmate on their way to Chicago where Piper testified during the trail of her ex-girlfriend Alex Vause (Laura Prepon).

In the Two Lies and Truth video, Lolly talked of three options when she returns at Season 3 of Orange is the New Black which will also feature her and Alex coming to blows.

Lolly said one option fans should expect is whether she would attack Piper at Litchfield for not sticking up for her in Chicago. A second option is she finds a tank inside the prison and uses it for her escape, while a third option is Lolly teaching her fellow inmates about keeping kosher.

Here are other spoilers for the upcoming season, is Vee dead? That question was left hanging in the season finale of Orange is the New Black Season 2 when she and Rosa escaped Litchfield. But Lorraine Toussaint, who plays Yvonne 'Vee' Parker in the series hinted she might be returning in the next season. She said.  "I cannot say. Let's put it this way, at the end of last season I took a very big hit. Is Vee dead? Can she really be dead? The devil don't die so fast."

It's exciting to see Red clawing her way back to the prison hierarchy after surviving a nasty hit from Vee with a lock in a sock.

Jason Biggs, who plays Larry Bloom, has confirmed he would not be returning for Season 3 of Orange is the New Black as Netflix has wrapped up his relationship with Young Piper's (Claire Foley) ex-bestfriend Polly Harper (Maria Dizzia). But Biggs did not discounted his return in future episodes of the series.

New inmate Stella Carlin, played by actress and model Ruby Rose, will stir up the prison as she will become the love interest of Piper and Alex, so expect a lot of tension between the two. The beautiful Stella could also attract the interests of Nicky Nichols (Natasha Lyonne) and Big Boo  (Kevin Carolan) that could further heat up the Litchfield prison population.
