Oscars 2014 Live Streaming, ABC TV: Watch Live Online for Academy Awards Behind the Scenes, Start Time

For the first time ever, The Oscars live red carpet preshow and full awards show will stream live on WATCH ABC viewers online at ABC.com and on mobile devices. The 2014 Oscars will be held today at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. The 86th Academy Awards will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC. 

ABC will offer an online live stream of the Oscars this Sunday, but there are restrictions. Those who meet those restrictions can watch it on abc.go.com/watch-live.

According to official announcements, live streaming is available through Comcast, Cablevision, Cox Communications, Charter Communications, Midcontinent Communications, Verizon FiOS, Google Fiber, and AT&T U-verse in ABC's eight Owned Station markets - New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Raleigh-Durham, and Fresno.

If you are not in the area covered by ABC, another TV live stream source provides coverage for more areas. 

This year's Best Picture nominations include "American Hustle," "Nebraska," "Captain Philips," "Philomena," "Dallas Buyers Club," "12 Years a Slave," "Gravity," "The Wolf of Wall Street," and "Her."

The actors nominated in Actor in a Leading Role category are Christian Bale (American Hustle)Leonardo DiCaprio (The Wolf of Wall Street)Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club),Bruce Dern (Nebraska) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave).

This year's nomination for Actresses in a Leading Role  are Amy Adams (American Hustle)Cate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine)Sandra Bullock (Gravity)Judi Dench (Philomena), and Meryl Streep (August: Osage County).

Meanwhile, E! online will be providing red carpet coverage kicking off at 1:30 p.m. ET/10:30 a.m PT and the livestream at 5:25 p.m. ET/2:25 p.m. PT.
