Philadelphia Flyers vs. New York Rangers Stanley Cup Playoffs Game 7 will begin at 4 p.m. PST/7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. The No. 6 seed Flyers will visit the No. 5 seed Rangers at the Madison Square Garden in New York, New York. In Game 6, the Flyers did as they had believed - they beat the Rangers by three goals (2-5), which evened the playoffs at 3-3.

"Two good teams that are battling hard," said Rangers' coach Alain Vigneault, according to NHL.com. "We have home ice, so we'll go home and get ready."

Meanwhile, the Flyers have kept their confidence high before Game 6 and will attempt to defeat the Rangers as they did yesterday.

But the Rangers have won nine of their past 10 against the Flyers at Madison Square Garden and a 5-0 all-time in Game 7s at home.

In Game 5, the Rangers overpowered their Eastern Conference Final opponent Flyers, placing them at elimination. Rick Nash has four assists and one goal. He's made 23 shots, tied with Brad Richards for the team lead.

Their goaltender H. Lundqvist has saved 122 shots and allowed 9 goals - a 92.6 percent.

The Flyers will be playing today to avoid elimination and force Game 7 back in New York on Wednesday. But the mindset is to win one game at a time.

Rangers' captain Claude Giroux shared in a press conference that his team's confidence level remained high.

"We have a lot of character in this room," he said, according to NHL.com. "Guys hate losing. Lot of passion. That's one of our positives; we just don't quit. Some teams might be a little down that they just lost Game 5 and they're down 3-2. We look at it like we're playing at home [Tuesday] and we got a chance to play Game 7. Guys are confident. That's a good start."

Giroux made his first playoffs goal a game-high six shots in Game 4. He became NHL's third-most scorer after putting on three goals and four assists in the final four regular-season games.

The Flyers caught up with the Rangers again at 2-2 in the Best-of-7 series. While Rangers led in 2-1 after Game 3, the Flyers put the series in a deadlock.

Flyers' coach Alain Vigneault has maintained there are elements of the power play that have worked, but will need to do more if they hope to turn shots into goals.

"It's just a matter of execution," Vigneault said, according to NHL.com. "[If] our execution gets better we'll have better looks. It's more about how we're moving the puck than anything else. We had a good meeting about it [Saturday] and I'm confident the power play will be effective."

In Game 4, Flyers forward Jakub Voracek made the winning goal, which was his fourth goal in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and second game-winner.

In Game 2, the Flyers are realizing the seriousness of keeping the penalties down, especially after they were shorthanded 12 times in the first two games.

"There's penalties we could have avoid," forward Vincent Lecavailier said, according to NHL.com. "I think you look at any game, they're calling a lot of hooking and grabbing, slashes. They'll call all that. We have to make sure we're discipline."

In response, the Rangers, who have matched the intensity, but not the penalty minutes, will try their best to maintain a cool head as they receive the visiting Flyers.
