There is nothing quite like being able to enjoy a spanking new console in your living room, presumably to go along with a large screen TV that is more than capable of handling all of the visuals thrown its way. Well, the Sony PS4 has been around for a few years and has the intention to remain in the market in the years to come. In other words, the time is long overdue for a hardware refresh, and this is where the Playstation 4 Pro comes in -- or the PS4 Pro for short. It looks like Sony themselves are riding high on the Black Friday wave, having sent out an email that teases the masses on the new kind of deals which will be made available in the frenzied sales event that is happening later this week.

In the PlayStation Store, gamers can prepare themselves to check out a new Black Friday 2016 refresh this coming Thursday, November 24. That would be when the new offers would be unleashed upon the masses, but it remains to be seen as to what Sony will roll out in their store. One of the things that we would most probably be privy to would be a long list of gaming discounts, which would be a good time for you to pick up some of the titles that you have always wanted but never really got down to doing so simply because you did not have the finances in the previous months. These new teaser emails were sent to PlayStation subscribers over in Europe, which means our friends living across the pond are also able to enjoy some decent deals and discounts.

As for those of us living in the US, it has been confirmed that there will be a new Uncharted 4 PS4 Bundle that will retail for $249.99, where this deal kicks off this Thursday on November 24, and is good until Cyber Monday on November 28. Those living in Canada will also be able to enjoy this particular bundle for $329.99 CAD, which will happen within the same time period. Sony mentioned that the “Uncharted 4 PS4 bundle includes the new, slimmer PS4 with a 500 GB hard drive, a DualShock 4, and Naughty Dog’s hit game Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The bundle is a great gift for yourself or that special someone on your holiday list. Be sure to check your local retailer in advance for details.”

On the side note, it seems that the newest PS4 Pro update has also been introduced, where it will now carry the version number 4.06. This firmware update will perform some minor changes, where Sony has described it as, "this system software update improves the quality of the system performance". Well, at least this 297MB update will not take up too much space on your system, but on the other hand, it will not introduce any groundbreaking changes, either. With the PS4 Pro capable of upscaling selected titles to 4K resolution, it is Sony's most powerful console to date, and you might want to use Black Friday to pick up a K TV as well to go along with it.
