PlayStation Plus Free Games July 2016 Lineup: PlayStation Official Asking for AAA Games Suggestions

One of the benefits of enrolling in PlayStation Plus program is subscribers can download games for free every month. As the month of July comes closer, many members are now curious what would be the next free titles. Sony surprised gamers this month by offering NBA 2K16. Will the gaming company offer another AAA title on July? Let's find out.

NBA 2k16 is considered as one of the most popular sports video game on gaming consoles. Sony said it offered the game as a celebration for the recently concluded NBA 2016 Finals. In addition, the company provided adventure/exploration game Gone Home for PlayStation 4 users. On the other hand, PlayStation 3 users had Echochrome and Siren: Blood Curse (Episodes 1-12). PS Vita users had a chance to play Little Deviants and God of War: Chains of Olympus on their mobile devices.

For the month of July, the official community page of PlayStation is now asking for suggestions. Some of the games that users requested include Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Watch Dogs, and Resident Evil 6. Several tech websites suggest the last two might make it to the next month's lineup.

Open-world action game Watch Dogs was released in 2014, while Resident Evil 6 became available in 2012. These two titles were launched more than two years ago, so it is not surprising if Sony offers them next month. In addition, Watch Dogs 2 and Resident Evil 7 will be released this year, and one of the best ways to build hype for these titles is to release their past titles for free.

The original Watch Dogs game has great open-world environment. Many gamers also love its thrilling missions and quests. On the other hand, Resident Evil 6 has interesting storylines, which cleverly integrate with each other.

It is expected Sony will reveal the complete lineup of PlayStation Plus games for July next week. We'll give you more details as soon as we know more.

Meanwhile, PlayStation Blog announced Kill Strain will be a free download for PlayStation Plus members beginning July 12. After that, all PS4 owners will get the game free on July 19. Kill Strain is a competitive, team-based shooter game from Sony's San Diego Studio. It pits three teams against one another under uniquely dynamic circumstances.
