Microsoft released a new live-action teaser of Quantum Break. The preview shows the mischievous plans of the villains in the much-anticipated game from developer Remedy Studios. Now, here's what is currently known about Quantum Break release date, features and rumors on the web.

The teaser features two antagonists of the game who are in the service of the notorious Monarch Company. Aidan Gillen, who also appears in Game of Thrones series, plays as Paul Serene. Lance Reddick from The Wire and Fringe portrays Hatch.

Interestingly, the cast of Quantum Break came from cinema industry's big names. The game also features actor Dominic Monaghan, who played Meriadoc Brandybuck in the Lord of the Rings trilogy .

The Quantum Break live-action is mainly focused on the adventures of the antagonists, while the game puts the heroes in the limelight, according to Tech Times. Each video episode will definitely offer unique gaming experience to players. For players who are impatient and want to play the main game, they can skip the video and head back into the action.

The Guardian explained the Quantum Break includes four 22-minute episodes of a TV show, which appears at major events in the game. These episodes are not used to deepen the game's storyline, but they written to make the game thrilling. Once a player made a decision, it would be reflected in the next episodes.

Quantum Break casts gamers as Jack Joyce, the main protagonist that has ability to control time. The game centers about Joyce's battle against the malevolent Monarch Solutions. While it looks like a shooter game on its own, Quantum Break wants to differentiate itself to other role-playing games by offering a live-action TV series.

Industry experts say it looks like video game developer Remedy Studios is aiming to change the gaming industry by releasing a game that includes a live-action TV series. The developer also announced Quantum break would be available on the Xbox One and PC to reach wider number of players. Remedy Studios is the developer behind Alan Wake and Max Payne series.

Quantum Break will be available on Xbox One and PC on April 5, 2016.
