Rachael Lampa Prepares New Release

By John Ma

Latin American Gospel artist Rachael Lampa is preparing for the self-titled release of Rachael Lampa, her third studio album. The self-titled project will release July 27 and, for the first time it will feature Lampa as a co-writer on all 11 tracks of the album.

"This album is a true representation of who I am as an artist, both lyrically and musically," shared Lampa. "Although I wrote a bit on my last record, this is the first time I have truly expressed myself from the first song to the last. This past year has been a year of growing pains for me, but I hope that, with these songs, I have effectively communicated the joy and love that our Father has for us—no matter what situation we may find ourselves in."

Nineteen-year-old Lampa's songwriting was influenced by events in both her personal and professional life, including her five years of touring and recording experience.

With the help of production by GRAMMY Award-winning music legend Tommy Sims (Eric Clapton, Amy Grant, Michael McDonald, CeCe Winans), Rachael Lampa includes a variety of musical styles, from pop to rock to funk to modern adult contemporary.

The project features a guest appearance from multi-award winning and critically acclaimed steele pedal guitarist Robert Randolph and his performance and vocals on "Good Life." Additional standout tracks include "When I Fall," "All This Time" and "No Other One."
