After cutting down Kansas City Royals' lead to 2-1, the New York Mets return to Citi Field Stadium on Saturday for a chance to level the World Series battlefield. Here are tips on how to watch and listen to Royals vs. Mets Game 5 live stream online for free. 

Rookie pitcher Steven Matz starts for the Mets and takes on right-hander Chris Young of the Royals. The Mets have finally made their presence known in the World Series after earning an impressive victory over the Royals in Game 3.

The question now is: will New York tie the World Series at two triumphs apiece, or will Kansas City jump out to 3-1 edge with home-field advantage on their side?

While Game 4 is still underway, Royals pitcher Edinson Volquez has rejoined his team after his father's recent demise. Volquez is scheduled to start Sunday night in Game 5 of the World Series against the Mets, pending a conversation with Royals manager Ned Yost. The right-hander, who just came back from the Dominican Republic, was seen wearing a hooded sweat shirt in the dugout during Game 4 on Saturday night.

The Kansas City Royals signed the 32-year-old pitcher to a two-year deal worth $20 million following the offseason departure of No. 1 starter James Shields. Volquez led the team in wins (13) and ERA (3.55) in the regular season along with throwing 200 1-3 innings.

The fifth match between the Royals and Mets will take place on Sunday, 8:00 p.m. at Citi Field in New York. Baseball fans planning to watch the game online can do it for free via Fox Sports GO provided they have access to a cable subscription. They will need to log in using their or someone else's subscription details to access the free stream.

Those who prefer to enjoy Game 5 on the small screens of their smartphone or tablet can download the Fox Sports GO app on their iPhone or iPad, Android, or Windows mobile device for free. Same with the desktop live stream, they will have to input their cable login details.
