Samsung's wearables have attracted many buyers in the past few years, so it is not surprising that some people are asking about the developments in Gear Fit 2 and Gear S3. Today's reports say the official announcement of new smartwatches could happen soon after Samsung's own website has leaked the images of the Gear Fit 2.

Now, here's latest on Samsung Gear Fit 2, Gear S3 release date, features and rumors on the web.

A report from Slash Gear suggests Gear Fit 2 will boast significant improvements over its original model, which has a .84-inch AMOLED screen, 4GB of storage, integrated GPS, water resistance, and health notification system.

Samsung released the first Gear Fit two years ago, so it's about time to introduce its successor. The leaked images on Samsung S Health website didn't reveal any details about the wearable's specs, but there rumors about its features.

Samsung filed a patent at the US Patent and Trademark Office on May 5. The patent reveals the South Korean Tech Company is developing a hologram technology for its forthcoming smartwatches. Users could project a keyboard on their hand or read text on their arm. The patent also demonstrates how users can use walls or desks as screens.

As with any patent application, Forbes said there's no guarantee that the new feature will land new devices immediately, but it is a good sign that Samsung thinks out the box to improve their smartwatches. As of now, there's no word on whether Samsung would implement the new feature on wearables that are rumored to launch soon, such as the Gear S3 and the Gear Fit 2.

Tech Radar predicts the Gear S3 could be launched at the IFA 2016, which is scheduled for September 2 until September 7. The wearable could come with a 1.84-inch AMOLED display, a 4GB memory support, and a GPS. It could also have a waterproof body.

Furthermore, Samsung could announce the Gear Fit 2 along with the S3 during the conference. It is expected the device will have amazing health care apps.

Interestingly, the sales of fitness bands and smartwatches increased this year. CNET reported shipments of wearables rose 19.7 million units, an increase of 67 percent from the 11.8 million units shipped during last year's first quarter.

Let's wait and see if Samsung will release a new batch of wearables this year. Stay tuned for more info.
