San Diego Chargers vs. Cincinnati Bengals 2014 NFL (AFC Wild Card) First Round Playoffs game will begin at 10:05 a.m. PT (1:05 p.m. ET) on Sunday, January 5, 2014. The (9-7) Chargers will be visiting the (11-5) Bengals at the Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Chargers vs. Bengals game will be available live, free online streaming. Information can be found below.

Coming off the close 27-24 winning game against Kansas City Chiefs, the No. 6-ranked Chargers gets a shot at the playoffs in the wild card round. Quarterback Philip Rivers regained elite status in 2013, and running back Ryan Matthews has joined Rivers as part of a combo that led the Chargers in shocking win over the Broncos in Denver a few weeks ago.

Rivers threw for 4,478 yards and 32 touchdowns - fifth- and fourth-best in the NFL - at 69.5 percent completion rate. In addition, Matthews rushed for 1,255 yards. This combo should prove to be a stumbling block for the Bengals when Cincinnati plays the Bolts on Sunday, despite the No. 3-ranked Bengals' defense as seen from the offensive and defensive comparison.

Andy Dalton, Bengals' star quarterback, has threw 4,293 yards and 33 touchdowns at a completion rate of 61.9 percent. Dalton has relied heavily on receivers A.J. Green, who caught 98 passes and put down 1,426 yards and 11 touchdowns, Marvin Jones, who has 712 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Although most analyst believe the Bengals defense will shut down San Diego's offenses, the Chargers have sprung two upsets in cold-weather road games in the last six weeks and quarterback Philip Rivers has more playoff wins (three) than Dalton has playoff appearances (two).

If the Chargers defeat the Bengals, the Bolts will play Denver in the AFC divisional round playoff.
