The San Francisco 49ers will be playing against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 1:25 pm PST. The 49ers will be visiting the Cowboys at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fans can watch the game on FOX or online through the live stream below (free with subscription).

The 49ers' have a high chance of reaching the No. 1 title in NFC West for their key offensive players, quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who was battleing a foot injury, Michael Crabtree and Vernon Davis are all healthy and are expected to make breakthrough performances in the 2014 season.

From the defensive side, San Francisco will not be able to have the same competitive edge as they did last season. Although their front seven were viewed as the league's best, AllPro pass rusher Aldon Smith has been suspended for nine games for violating the league's policy on personal conduct and substances abuse, inside lineback NaVorro Bowman, the best linebacker in the league, is recovering from reconstructive knee surgery, and tackle Gleen Dorsey is also recovering from torn biceps.

Supplanting the fallbacks, recent draft picks Corey Lemonier, Tank Carradine, Chris Borland and Quinton Dial will most likely to put to work to help the team maintain their defensive wall. 49ers will be able to see if their defensive line can hold up beginning from their first 2014 NFL regular season game with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys are looking hopeful in their offensive lineup. Quarterback Tony Romo has recovered well from back surgery and looked healthy in his preseason appearances; first-round pick offensive lineman Zack Martin will add to the team's offensive plays; other key offensive players are Tyron Smith, one of the best receivers in football Dez Bryant, and tight end Gavin Escobar.

It is not just the 49ers that have problems in their defense. The Cowboys had to release DeMarcus Ware because of Cap mismanagement and lose Jason Hatcher in free agency. Linebacker Sean Lee is also out for the season with a torn ACL. Demarcus Lawrence broke his foot and will likely miss three to six games. The team's best cornerback Orlando Scandrick was suspended for four games for using performance-enhancing drugs.

While Romo is healthy and will be able to play at full-form, it is still uncertain how far the Cowboys can go with the current roster. Some analysts say that the Cowboys may end up with only six wins come February, but it is still too early to judge as anything can happen in the next six months of crunch time.
