49ers vs. Saints Week 11 Preview

Going into Sunday's game, the 49ers have just lost 10-9 to the Carolina Panthers, which broke their five-game winning streak. The Saints have lost two games in the season against New England Patriots and the New York Jets.

For the Saints, they are ranked among the top 10 teams in the league now and their 49-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys shows their strength coming into today's game.

Saints' quarterback Drew Brees have led the Saints as the No. 2 passing offense, throwing 324.9 yards per game on average.

While the Saints clearly have an advantage to score big, the 49ers will not be an easy opponent as San Francisco holds the No. 9 passing defense, allowing 211.4 passing yards on average.

Mark Ingram, Saints' running back, had a spectacular performance last week, rushing 145 yards against the Cowboys when the team only had 97.8 yards per game on average. He may put up another season-high stat against the 49ers.

San Francisco's quarterback Colin Kaepernick hasn't performed well this season as his team is ranked 32 in passing offense in the league. But the 49ers have been able to pull through with a strong running game and defense thus far.

They've rushed for 147.7 yards per game on average, meaning their rush game could be the game-changer to beat the Saints who are ranked 23rd in rush defense, allowing 117.7 rush yards per game on average.
