Sanctus Real Garners Second Radio No. 1 Hit

By John Ma

Sanctus Real's single Everything About You garners its second consecutive No. 1 radio hit this year after its recent acclaimed release last month, Fight The Tide. The previous single which also earned the top awards on the radio was Beautiful Day, the single that the band submitted to the multi-artist project In The Name Of Love: Artists United For Africa.

"Everything About You" securely grasped the No. 1 position this week on the R & R Rock chart, while simultaneously breaking into the Top 10 and climbing on the CHR chart.

The band continues to receive kudos from a variety of Christian music magazines.

CCM Magazine says, "The more you hear, the brighter (Sanctus Real's) future looks."

Group Magazine says, "This is joyful music that lifts the heart and spirit. Fight The Tide forms a lifestyle guide for the Christian hoping to walk the path of Christ instead of lockstep with the world. When a guidebook sounds this good, you're certain to reference it repeatedly."

Currently, Sanctus Real will be performing for tens of thousands at festivals across the country, including the upcoming Sonshine (Willmar, MN 7/16), Spirit West Coast (Monterey, CA 7/23) and Creation West (Gorge, WA 7/24) festivals, the band will hit the road Aug. 12 on an extensive 50-city major market tour. The first leg of their tour launches with award-winning BEC Recordings artist Jeremy Camp, followed by a headlining tour with Seven Places and Hawk Nelson.
