Five piece band “Something Like Silas, a band based in San Diego, CA will release a song a week for fans under Sparrow Records.

The band’s style has an intermixture between ambient, alternative and melodic with visually stimulating graphics for worship. The band has been leading worship at major summer camps for years, including being the core worship group for their college generation outreach at “Flood” church in their hometown.

"Worship is more than just singing along... in worship there is movement and transformation. It is a journey into the heart of God." says lead singer/guitarist, Eric Owyoung. Beautiful melodic rock music, female vocal layers, meaningful and meditative lyrics, the band takes worshippers on spiritual journeys, pointing them to the Glory of God that is above.
