National Basketball Association's Most Valuable Player (MVP) Stephen Curry pointed his right index finger up 95 times in this season's NBA playoffs. That's because he had connected 95 three-pointers in the NBA playoffs, and every time he connects those treys, Curry, the devout, sharp-shooting Christian, always points his right index finger up to remind everyone that the glory of his success belongs to God.

In Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Curry contributed 37 points, including 21 points from the arc, or seven three-pointers in 13 attempts, in 42 minutes in the 104-91 victory over the LeBron James-led team, giving the Golden State a 3-2 lead in their best-of-seven series.

His fans were quick to acknowledge his presence on the court.

A photo of Curry pointing his right index finger up after scoring another three-pointer is currently trending in the official NBA TV Facebook page.

The photo was captioned, "Stephen Curry has made 95 3-Pointers in the NBA playoffs. The previous record in a single postseason was 58 by Reggie Miller. #NBAFinals."

As of this writing, the photo has generated 41,388 likes and 3,431 shares. But the numbers are growing up crazy!

Raymond Chaney, commented, "I said like 3 weeks ago that curry is not the best 3 point shoot in NBA history. I change my opinion on that, cause this nikka can shoot lights out from anywhere on the court. His range is crazy and he has 1 of the fastest release I seen. Sorry Reggie, and Allen this nikka got u beat already. And this is coming from a die hard Bulls fan."

Chaney also predicted that Curry would be remembered as the three-point shooter in basketball history when his career is over. "And if you don't think so, you should stop watching basketball," he added.

Another fan, James Lewis, added, "STEPHEN CURRY--IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME....HE'S THE MUHAMMED ALI OF BASKETBALL-NBA."

And Oscar Giovanni Ocaps Capinpuyan, said, " Good job guys..GSW..keep it up till game 6....no more game 7....Cavs with lebron....they are all going DOWN....Lebron cannot bring the cavs to champion....."

However, not everybody is happy with the accolades being thrown at Curry, Faizan Khan said that Reggie Miller was up against a more formidable defender than Curry. He wrote, "Steph Curry is 95-221. Reggie Miller was 58-147. Even tho it's a 3% improvement from Reggie Miller, please disclose all the facts before discrediting Reggie Miller. Also the individual guarding Reggie Miller was named Michael Jordan, not Matthew Dellevadova. Thanks have a nice day."

There is no doubt Curry is oozing with talent. But another thing this guy has plenty of is humility. In an interview with Decision, Curry said, "Obviously, there's a lot of hoopla and fanfare that follows you wherever you go, but I know where my talent comes from. I know why I play the game, and it's not to score 30 points a night, but it's to use the stage I'm on. I've been put here for a specific purpose: to be a witness and to share my testimony as I go through it."

And writing for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes web site last year, Curry said he wants to point the people "the Man who died for our sins on the cross. I know I have a place in Heaven waiting for me because of Him, and that's something no earthly prize or trophy could ever top."

In the continuing Game 6 of the NBA Finals, expect Curry to continue connecting those threes. Other than seeing Curry pointing his finger up to glorify God, you can also watch out for her mom Sonya who celebrates each three-point of her son with a dance.
