Over 900 Chinese Christians were drawn to graceful praise and worships with Stream of Praise (SOP) in San Diego churches last weekend.

On Feb. 4- 5, the SOP team went on a tour in three Chinese churches in San Diego. At Good Samaritan Church on the first day, around 500 people came; while on the second day, a total of 400 congregations from all walks of life attended the Sunday worships led by SOP at Chinese Bible Church of San Diego and Bread of Life Church San Diego. As this is the first tour of SOP this year, it has kicked-off with great success.

The founder and CEO of SOP, Rev. Sandy Yu, delivered the message on the joint worship service. She highlighted the "firstfruits" mentioned in the Bible, and that every firstborn belongs to God. She wished to offer up all the praises and worships, tours and services in this year to God.

SOP’s praise and worship tour extends beyond the border of the U.S. The international tour schedule this year is very tight, including a number of significant and meaningful locations. Apart from North America and some Asian countries, SOP will enter new land- Europe- for the very first time. From late September to early October, SOP is going to hold praise and worship celebrations in London and Paris. SOP ministers are connecting with more European cities to schedule more events. The tour in Europe is expected to last for around two weeks.

In July, SOP will go to Macau to lead the worships for a massive historical celebration, where thousands of Chinese Christian leaders from all around the world will attend. It is a gathering to mark the 200th anniversary of the arrival of the first missionary Robert Morrison to China in Macau.

The next station for SOP tour is New Zealand, where they have not visited for five years. SOP is expected to hold a two-week long tour.

Currently, SOP uses the 2005 tour theme "For You Alone" for all worships and praises to be held across the world. A new album with the focus on the blood of Jesus Christ and his cross is under preparation for publication. In Asian region, it will be released in late June or early July this year and made available in the U.S. in August.

SOP is an international Chinese Christian worship and praise ministries started from Los Angeles. Its simple but meaningful worship songs are sung by most Chinese churches around the world.
