Expect an electrifying halftime show on Super Bowl's 50th anniversary, as Coldplay and  Beyonce is set to headline this year's performance. To spice things up, Bruno Mars will be coming back in the much-anticipated event. This will happen as the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers square off for the NFL championship.

This year's Super Bowl will be broadcast live by CBS, with live streaming available via CBSSports.com. The championship game is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. Central (6:30 p.m. Eastern), and the halftime show will likely begin somewhere around 7 p.m. Central (8 p.m. Eastern).

Coldplay will be making their first performance in the Super Bowl Halftime show. In an interview, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said that performing at one of the most famous sporting events would be the band's greatest moment. The British rock band will also like to follow the NFL's "On the Fifty" campaign.

"In an ideal world, we'd like to somehow honor the past, celebrate the present and look to the future," Martin told Entertainment Tonight.

Coldplay has already won seven Grammy Awards, such as Best Rock Album, Album of the Year and Song of Year.  They are also one of the Billboard's chart-topping bands after they sold more than 80 million records worldwide. The band's famous songs are "The Scientist", "Fix You", "Clocks" and "Magic".

Meanwhile, Pepsi confirmed to The Associated Press on Jan. 7 that Beyonce will join Coldplay at the Feb. 7 show .The 34-year-old singer performed at the 2013 Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show, where she sang with her Destiny's Child co-members.

Coldplay and Beyonce recently collaborated in band's new album titled "A Head Full of Dreams."

Bruno Mars, on other hand, performed at the Super Bowl stage in 2014. His performance with a drum set was also one of the most spectacular acts in the history of the event. Next month, he is set to rock the hafltime show again.

The opportunity to perform in the Super Bowl halftime is the best chance for any recording artist to show off their God-given talents. With Beyonce and Bruno Mars getting that break again this year, expect a thrilling concert-like experience.

In last year's Super Bowl, Katy Perry and Lenny Kravitz rocked the stage. Perry's 13-minute performance was watch by more than 115 million people worldwide, making it the most-watched halftime show of all time.
